Customer accounts: Email address for authentication and communication.
Pub owner accounts: Email, pub name, and billing information (processed by Stripe).
Usage data: Stamp events, redemptions, and device activity for platform functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the PintUp service, process transactions, send service-related communications, and prevent fraud.
3. Data Sharing
We share limited data with pub owners (masked email, stamp counts) so they can provide you with rewards. We use Stripe for payment processing. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Security
Session codes and redemption codes are stored as hashes only. PINs are hashed using bcrypt. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use Supabase with Row Level Security for data protection.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. Pub owners can request deletion of customer data. You can request account deletion at any time.
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have rights to access, correct, delete, and export your personal data. Contact us at privacy@pintup.co to exercise these rights.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
